Exhibits across the city: 11th-18th March 2009
Feel The Feeling aims to get people talking about change, aspirations, the
day-to-day and the bigger picture. The project explores critical and
reflective space in the City through type in the environment positioned in
various external locations.
Part of Place Space and Identity 2, a unique collaboration led by Arts
Council England West Midlands co-funded by Renew North Staffordshire, North
Staffordshire Regeneration Partnership, Stoke on Trent City Council,
Newcastle Borough Council, Staffordshire Moorlands District Council, and
delivered in partnership with B Arts.
Chris’s work will be seen on building exteriors such as the Hanley City Library and Potteries Museum & Art gallery as well as on billboards in Lichfield street (near Birch Terrace and near Berkely Street) and Leek Road (near Spur Street). When you see this artwork you can leave your comments at feelthefeeling.org.uk.
We will also be asking people to spend a few minutes filling in an evaluation form (soon to be made available) it is vital that we hear the views of as many people as possible who come into contact with the various pieces of work across the city, so spending a couple of minutes to share your thoughts would be much appreciated.
